India Ranks 11th on TasteAtlas' '100 Best Cuisines in the World' List
India has proudly secured the 11th position on the esteemed '100 Best Cuisines in the World list by TasteAtlas, celebrating the country's culinary excellence. Renowned for its diverse traditions and rich cultural heritage, India has always been considered a culinary paradise, captivating global taste buds with its aromatic spices and mouth-watering curries. The achievement reflects the versatility and widespread admiration for Indian cuisine worldwide.

The recognition by TasteAtlas, an experiential travel online guide, is the result of extensive research and ratings based on dish and food product reviews, totalling over 395,205 dish ratings and 115,660 food product ratings. Noteworthy Indian dishes, such as Butter Garlic Naan, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka, and Chicken Tandoori, secured positions in the '100 Best Dishes in the World' list.
Top desi food stops in India, according to the list, include renowned establishments such as Bukhara in New Delhi, Karavalli in Bangalore, ITC Kohenur in Hyderabad, Coromin in Gurugram, Shree Thaker Bhojanalay in Mumbai, and Paragon Restaurant in Kozhikode.
As for beverages, popular choices in India include lassi, masala chai, filter coffee, Darjeeling tea, thandai, and jaljeera. In the alcoholic category, Gin and tonic and Feni emerged as the two most popular drinks in India.
The top spot on the list was claimed by Italy, renowned for pasta and pizza, with Japan and Greece following closely in the second and third positions, respectively.
