In 2025, Google's Republic Day doodle represented wildlife magic on the contrary. Artist Rohan Dahotre from Pune designed a lively scene with animals donning Indian flair, a peacock soaring, a tiger in dhoti-kurta playing music, a snow leopard in Ladakhi gear, plus a crocodile and antelope. It highlighted India's diverse regions and fauna. This year's representation of ISRO feels like a natural evolution, depicting our growing space missions.

Republic Day parade 2026

Today, January 26, 2026, India marks its 77th Republic Day with pomp at Kartavya Path. President Droupadi Murmu lead the parade which started at 9:30 am, and included various tableaux showcasing military might, cultural floats, and tech advancements. The main theme of the event marks the 150 years of ‘Vande Matram’, our national song, and 30 tableaus of various states and union territories. Live coverage began at 10:30 am, with gates opening from 7 am.
