'Demon boss': Meghan Markle's former employees reveal the shocking way she treats her team
Among all the controversial royal household members who have had a love-hate relationship with the public, Meghan Markle tops the list. The actress turned royalty recently embarked on an Australian tour with her husband Prince Harry and the couple's outings went viral worldwide for more than just their philanthropy.
Out of all their adventures in the Land Down Under a clip has amassed millions of views. During the visit to a children's hospital in Melbourne, Markle appeared to give a "death glare" to a staffer Sarah Fosmo who was touching Harry's back in the video to gain his attention. The Duchess who was seen visibly smiling at the children turned and glared at the woman with a stern face momentarily.
The video quickly gained traction online, raising questions about how Markle treated her staff. According to a DailyBeast report, the clip brought up trauma from their "traumatic" employment for her former employees.
Many other former employees told the outlet that Markle was a "demon" boss prone to "psycho moments."
The news of Markle's absurd behaviour with her staff isn't new. In 2025, a Vanity Fair report alleged that some of the Duchess's staffers in America needed therapy after working for her. Prior to that, sources shared with The Hollywood Reporter that Markle was a "dictator in high heels."
For Markle, controversies are not new. Some even believe she creates them for fun. Previously, in October 2025 when the Duchess made her first appearance at Paris Fashion Week, she shared a video of herself relaxing in a limousine near the Paris tunnel where her mother-in-law Princess Diana lost her life in a fatal car crash in 1997. She was trolled for her 'insensitive' and 'tasteless' video and was also called 'evil' for the clip.
However, representatives for Markle said this clip, which had been slowed down for dramatic effects, was "designed to be manipulative and perpetuate a false narrative."
The estranged royal couple had been on a four-day trip to Australia, touring Melbourne and Sydney for a series of “private, business, and philanthropic engagements.” However, as usual, Markle's antics more than her actions, gained the adventure some much-needed publicity.

Meghan Markle's former employees reveal her shocking behaviour
According to one employee, the clip was a "classic Meghan": smiling to the public on one side and glowering at employees on the other side where she thinks she is unobserved. “The woman treats anyone she has power over as totally disposable. You are just treated like a tradesman who is there to fix the toilet,” they said. Many other former employees told the outlet that Markle was a "demon" boss prone to "psycho moments."
