Shared on X by user @gharkekalesh, the clip racked up over 38,000 views in no time, with the caption reading, “Kalesh b/w two girls inside delhi metro over push and shove”. It might mean that the fight kicked off from jostling in the packed train, though the exact cause remains unclear, and details like the date or location aren’t confirmed.

What does the video show?

The video captures the women locked in a fierce tussle amid commuters who mostly stand by, while some try half-heartedly to intervene. No one from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has commented officially.

However, TOI has not independently verified the clip's authenticity, as the “chaotic scene” racked up over 40,000 views by late December 22.

It was no less than a “wrestling ring,” with one climbing atop the other. Netizens wrote, “Welcome to Delhi Metro where there’s never a shortage of entertainment” and “Patience and tolerance seem to be vanishing from our society”.
