Boss shares ₹239 crore in bonuses with employees; viral gala videos leave internet stunned
A Chinese company has become the talk of the internet after its boss handed out huge cash bonuses to employees, creating a scene that people are calling unbelievable. Videos of staff counting stacks of money and carrying huge bundles have gone viral, leaving netizens amazed and envious.
Henan Kuangshan Crane Co., Ltd. recently revealed that it gave more than 180 million yuan in year-end bonuses to its employees, as reported by the South China Morning Post. The company made 270 million yuan in profit in 2025, which means nearly 70 percent of profits were shared with staff.
At the annual gala on February 13, over 60 million yuan was distributed in cash directly at the event, creating an unforgettable experience for employees.
The gala was a massive affair. About 7,000 employees attended, sitting across 800 banquet tables. Employees were invited on stage to receive their bonuses, according to the report. In some fun activities, cash was spread out on tables, and employees counted the money themselves. Whatever they managed to count in the given time, they could take home.
Videos online show staff struggling to carry stacks of cash in their arms, with some barely able to hold all the money.
Cui Peijun, the company’s chairman, spoke during the gala and added a touch of excitement. As quoted by the South China Morning Post, he said, “Why are we giving out washing machines? Do you think gold prices have gone up? In previous years, we gave necklaces and rings, bring up the cash and give everyone another 20,000 yuan (US$2,800).”
This gesture made the event even more memorable for the staff.
The story spread quickly on social media, with many praising the company and its boss.
One person commented, “This is the real God of Wealth in the human world. We hope there will be more companies and entrepreneurs like this.”
Another wrote, “Isn’t this more effective than advertising? Treat employees well and they will work harder, with quality guaranteed. A boss like this deserves to be named a national model worker.”
A third summed it up perfectly: “This is truly someone else’s dream boss. With a year-end bonus like that, who would not want to work there?”
