A 35-year-old mother of 3 marries a 15-year-old boy, says, "Isme glt kya hai"
In a bizarre incident that has sparked widespread discussion, a 30-year-old mother of three reportedly married a 15-year-old boy in a village in Bihar. The unusual union has raised eyebrows and legal concerns alike. Videos of Seema, the woman at the center of the controversy, with her significantly younger husband, have gone viral on social media, igniting intense debate and drawing widespread curiosity.
Seema has defended her actions in front of the netizens and reporters. When a reporter questioned her unconventional union, she confidently retorted, “Pyaar karte the, kar liye shaadi, isme galat kya hai?” (We were in love, so we married. What’s wrong with that?). In another video, she can be seen lashing out at a reporter for insistently asking her questions. She emphasized that she doesn’t conform to societal norms.
The video received quite a reaction, with netizens expressing their confusion and anger at such a bizarre relationship. One user commented, “Completely wrong! Don't you feel ashamed doing such things with children involved?”, while another rebuked the woman and said, “I wish there was a tradition of slapping online.”
According to reports from a YouTube channel, the woman, identified as Seema, has married her maternal uncle's son, who is also her cousin. Talking to the interviewer, Seema confesses that she ‘loved’ the child from a very young age as they played, and grew up together.
According to reports, the boy is a seventh-grade student, while Seema is already married with three children. Explaining her decision, Seema told an interviewer that she no longer loved her husband, which led her to leave him and marry the boy. In the video, she admits to living in poor conditions, revealing that the couple has run away from their families.
Seema boasts a significant Instagram following of 50.2k and regularly shares videos on her page. In one of her recent posts, she uploaded a video captioned “shaadi kar liya” (I got married), which has garnered 20.9k views.
