Shah Rukh Khan, the King of Bollywood, won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his role in ‘Jawan,’ marking his first ever win in 33 years of his career. The fans cheerfully roared on social media, while he expressed his gratitude for being honoured with the award.

AR Rahman and Ridhi Dogra appreciated Shah Rukh Khan

Sharing the sentiments of the fans, the Oscar-winning music composer A.R. Rahman and Khan’s co-star in ‘Jawan,’ Ridhi Dogra, congratulated the 59-year-old actor on social media. “Legend (rose emoji) Congratulations (heart-eyed emoji),” the ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’ singer posted on X.
Meanwhile, Dogra shared a heartfelt note on X, “The best news. The best film. This fake mother of her Jawan son is over the moon with real joy @iamsrk congratulations (six red heart emojis) bigeesssttt love to you and @Atlee_dir and entire team !!!” Additionally, the 40-year-old actress posted an Instagram story and wrote, “The Best News. For the best film. Your film @atlee47 Our film. Like you said, the awards deserve you @iamsrk All Of them. Always."


Shah Rukh Khan expressed his gratitude

Shah Rukh Khan shared the award for Best Actor with Vikrant Massey for ‘12th Fail’ and posted a video on social media platforms to express his thankfulness. Donning a beanie, a black t-shirt and trousers, and a cast on his arm due to a recent injury, the legendary actor thanked the jury, the I&B ministry, the directors, and the writers, along with Atlee and his entire team.
Furthermore, he thanked his management team and family, ending with a note that he would continue to strive to create and serve the cinema. Khan posted the video on his Instagram, along with the caption: “Thank you for honouring me with the National Award. Thanks to the jury, the I&B ministry. Iss samman ke liye Bharat Sarkar ka dhanyawaad. Overwhelmed with the love showered upon me. Half a hug to everyone today….”
