7 types of Central Armed Police Forces of India

When we think about feeling safe in our localities, we owe a lot to the devoted and hardworking individuals of the Indian police forces. They are the ones who safeguard, handle emergencies, and ensure our nation is secure day and night.

But did you know that the Indian police is not just one unified body? There are different types of police forces, each with its own specialised responsibilities and unique skills and training. These specialized units, known as the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), are crucial in handling various significant duties like protecting our borders, responding to crises, and maintaining peace during challenging times.
