Macaw
One of the most beautiful birds in the world, Macaw's ability to mimic speech is quite popular. A search on the internet can introduce you to tons of hilarious videos where these birds are having a field day mimicking their owners. African Grey Parrot
African Grey Parrots are amongst the most notorious birds out there. These birds have gone as far as to order groceries on their own through Amazon's Alexa. A popular pet, they are so intelligent that they have been nicknamed "The Einstein of the Bird World". They can repeat human speech by hearing it even once or twice.

Northern Mockingbird
Did you know that the Northern Mockingbird's Latin name is Mimus polyglottos, which means "mimic of many tongues" This beautiful bird can pick up to 200 songs, can mimic other birds such as blue jays, and wrens and imitate human voices.

With a bright yellow neck, Yellow-Breasted Chats are energetic yet elusive. Called the "clown among birds" by popular ornithologist Arthur Cleveland Bent, this bird has an amazing range of sounds from catcalls to whistles to songs from other birds.

Parakeets
Also known as budgerigar or budgie, the Parakeets are called Melopsittacus undulatus in Latin, meaning songbird with wavy lines. Native to Australia, these bright-green birds are loved pets and their vocabulary is filled with phrases and words. Hill Myna
Found in the hilly regions of South and Southeast Asia, Hill Myna usually live in the wild and pick up sounds from nearby which include shrill whistles, screeches, gurgles and more. Their Latin name is Gracula religiosa, which might be referred to the popular practice of teaching them to recite prayers. However, many people in the regions adopt them as pets and in the households they learn to pick up lines and common sounds.
