Surprising the fans and film fraternity alike, popular actor Rana Daggubati took his social handle on Tuesday evening and introduced his girlfriend Miheeka Bajaj to the world. The ‘Baahubali’ star posted a picture with his fiancé and announced that she said yes to his marriage proposal. Hailing from a prominent business background, Miheeka Bajaj is the founder of an event management and decor company, Dew Drop Design Studio. Once the prevailing lockdown gets lifted, families from both sides are expected to finalise the wedding date.

Miheeka Bajaj is the daughter of popular businesswoman Bunty Bajaj
Miheeka Bajaj’s mother Bunty Bajaj is a prominent name in the jewellery business industry and her store Krsala is a favourite hotspot for jewellery connoisseurs. An alumnus of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Bunty started off with event management business and gradually moved into jewellery designing. She was also one of the top wedding décor planners in India.
Miheeka Bajaj’s education and professional career
After pursuing her Diploma in interior design from Rachna Sansad in Mumbai, Miheeka Bajaj did her Master’s Degree at the Chelsea University of Art and Design in London. She worked as an intern designer in Mumbai for about one year and turned into a writer at Design Pataki. Finally, in 2017, she established her own event management company, Dew Drop Design Studio.
Hobbies and passions of Miheeka Bajaj
Terming food as her biggest passion, Miheeka states that cooking is one of her favourite hobbies. She likes reading books, enjoys writing occasionally and loves everything about gifts, from the presentation to find the most apt gift to suit the person’s preferences.

Due to her business, Miheeka Bajaj frequently shuffles between Hyderabad and Mumbai. During an interview with ‘You & I’ magazine, she said “Hyderabad keeps me sane and in touch with my roots. It’s such a warm and loving city with wonderful people that I’ve grown up with. Most people in Hyderabad are like extended family more than friends. Mumbai, on the other hand, inspires me immensely, and constantly has me on the go. The city’s energy also charges you up to work harder and achieve all the goals you’ve set out for yourself.”

Speaking to Hyderabad Times, Rana’s father and popular producer Suresh Babu reacted on his son’s marriage, “During these grim times, we finally have a reason to celebrate. The entire family is happy. The kids have known each other for a long time now and we’re all very happy for them. It’s too soon to talk about other details about the wedding. We will reveal everything at the appropriate time.”
He added “The wedding will happen this year. We were thinking of having it around December but it could happen even sooner than that too. We will reveal the details once things are finalised. One thing’s for sure, the kids have given us a nice way to enhance our lockdown productivity. We’ll now be busy planning a wedding.”
