Upasana Konidela and her love for ragi
During an interview with ‘Curly Tales,’ Konidela mentioned her favorite food was ragi in one of the segments. Recalling the guidance given by Sadhguru, she said, “I make sure my daughter has ragi every day. Sadhguru told me, ‘Upasana, make sure that she has ragi in any form every day.’” Moreover, Upasana shared an incident with Sadhguru’s daughter, Radhe Jaggi. The acclaimed Bharatnatyam dancer once revealed that the spiritual guru would make her kanji, and she used to drink it every day. “Look at how glamorous she is and healthy and fit,” Konidela added about the dancer. When Jani asked whether her daughter liked the drink, she said with a chuckle, “Well, she has to like it. There’s no choice. Some things are non-negotiable.”Sadhguru's suggestions about the nutritious food
Sadhguru has often highlighted the best practices for food habits, digestion, fasting, and the nutrition that helps to liven up. With the motto of ‘You are what you eat,’ the guru suggested a plant-based diet. “When we cook food, we destroy the life in it. Eating food after this process of destruction does not give the same amount of life energy to the system,” he said. Moreover, following the best methods, he has also mentioned eating the food not more than 1.5 hours after getting it off the stove, helping the well-being of the children. Appreciating fruits and millets, Sadhguru suggests consuming multi-grains and varied fruits. After getting engaged in 2011, Upasana Kamineni Kondela tied the knot to the renowned actor, Ram Charan, in a grand wedding ceremony held in Hyderabad in 2012.
