Vinu Chakravarthy to make film on Silk!

2 011 saw the late southern sensation Silk Smitha, revived by Vidya Balan in The Dirty Picture that won rave reviews. However, one person who does not wish to watch the film is Vinu Chakravarthy, who first introduced Silk Smitha through Vandichakram.
That���������s because he���������s planning a biopic on Silk Smitha himself! He says, ���������After recuperating from an accident, I���������m making a comeback this year, as an actor, director and producer, with Veli Kaathaan, music for which will be composed by Ilaiyaraaja.I will be introducing two characters like Silk Smitha in this film. After that, I���������ll do a film on a person who inspired me from my hometown. By then, all the hype about The Dirty Picture and Vidya Balan would have come down. My third production, which will happen much later this year, will be a realistic biopic on the Silk Smitha I have known.���������
Vinu states that the makers of The Dirty Picture tried to cash in on his ���������discovery���������. ���������Nobody ever tried contacting me for reference of any kind on the actress,��������� he says, adding, ���������It was I who found her at a flour mill in Eluru near Vijayawada, when somebody told me that she was interested in acting. I brought her to the industry and introduced her as Silk. The Silk that I knew will be portrayed in my film.���������
