The wedding of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna has become the most discussed event in the Telugu film industry. Yet despite the growing curiosity the couple decided to keep the ceremony completely away from the media.

Report from 123 Telugu website states that both the wedding and the grand reception will not be open for press coverage. The report further stated that the events are reserved only for close family and selected friends.

Media interaction planned later in Hyderabad

Though the couple has firmly placed a no-media rule on the wedding and reception, reports suggest a separate press meet is being arranged. It will likely take place a few days after the rituals conclude. Vijay and Rashmika may greet the media then and may share wedding photographs officially.

A private ceremony planned in Udaipur on February 26

As per reports the wedding will take place on February 26 in Udaipur. Only immediate family members and close friends are expected to attend. The couple has remained silent on the venue and date. They have neither confirmed nor denied the circulating details.

However a wedding invite that went viral earlier this week intensified the speculation. The invite carried signatures from Vijay and Rashmika. It stated, “I’m writing to share some special news and to invite you to be part of a huge moment. With the love and blessings of our families, Rashmika and I will be getting married on 26.02.26 in a small and intimate ceremony.”

It further read, “As we begin this new chapter—celebrating and creating memories around our union, it would truly mean a lot to us to celebrate with those who have been a part of our journeys. Your presence and blessings would make this occasion even more special for us.”

Hyderabad house lights fuel rumours

The wedding buzz increased after a paparazzo shared footage of Vijay Deverakonda’s Hyderabad residence. The house appeared decorated with strings of lights. Fans took it as a sign that celebrations were underway and the visuals immediately went viral. Social media discussions grew.

The wedding invite also revealed details about a reception planned for March 4. It is scheduled to take place at the Taj Krishna in Hyderabad. The note stated, “We warmly invite you to join us and bless us at our wedding reception. Wednesday, 04 March 2026 | 7:00 PM onwards. Taj Krishna, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
