Venkatesh Maha announces his next - SU MATHI : an Empire State of mind

Venkatesh Maha’s second film Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya hit OTT recently and received great response. The director had some good news for fans as he took to social media on Saturday to announce his next film. Sharing that he wanted to do something special on the fourth anniversary of the day producer Praveena Paruchuri decided to fund his debut film C/o Kancharapalem, Venkatesh Maha announced that his next film is titled Su Mathi – an Empire State of Mind. He wrote, “On this date 4 years ago I found @paruchurimd who believed in my vision & “C/o Kancharapalem” became a reality.So, on the anniversary of our partnership we r announcing our next film. “SU MATHI” - an Empire State of mind...! #Su_Mathi_theFilm @bedheadchicken @planetdebbie.” (sic) He also announced that the film is dedicated to parents and wrote, “Inspired by our moms and dedicated to our parents.” (sic) Not just fans, even Tollywood celebs like director Nandini Reddy called the announcement poster ‘terrific’. Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya Satyadev took to social media and wrote, “Whoa!! Hearty congratulations Maha and Praveena. Super happy for you both. Looks like a hat-trick is on the cards. Still photographer kavalante cheppandi @mahaisnotanoun @paruchurimd.” (sic) making a self-referential joke about his character in the film. The first-look sees an old woman wearing a foam Statue of Liberty hat and looking up at the Empire State Building. She can be seen dressed in a saree with a bag in hand, suggesting she just landed in the US. The poster also states – Dedicated to our parents. Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, Paruchuri Vijaya Lakshmi, Gaddigopula Venkataratnam, Gaddigopula Sumathi Devi. Further details of the film are awaited.
