Vaisshnav Tej, Krithi Shetty and Bucchi Babu Sana take up the Green India Challenge

Lead actors Panja Vaisshnav Tej, Krithi Shetty and director Bucchi Babu Sana of Uppena took up the Green India Challenge.
Recently, Mythri Movie Makers’ producer Ravi Shankar took up the Haritha Haram challenge and planted saplings. He nominated team Uppena to take up the challenge and continue to do their bit. Planting a sapling at his home, Vaisshnav Tej nominated DOP Shamdat to continue the challenge, Krithi Shetty nominated all the fans who loved the number, Nee Kannu Neeli Samudram, while Bucchi Babu Sana nominated Vijay Sethupathi, Naveen Nooli and art director Ramakrishna.

Uppena was slated for release in April and was supposed to be the debut of Vaisshnav Tej, brother of Sai Dharam Tej. However, the film’s release stands postponed to an undetermined date due to the pandemic. The film sees Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi in a key role and sees music by Devi Sri Prasad. Cinematography for the film is by Shamdat while Naveen Nooli has edited the film. Apart from Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar’s Sukumar Writings is also producing the film. Bucchi Babu Sana, who was previously an associate of Sukumar, is also making his debut as a director with this film.
Apart from Nee Kannu Neeli Samudram, promotional material including songs like Dhak Dhak Dhak and a few posters from the film have also been released and met with good response. Apart from the team of Uppena, many Tollywood celebs have taken up the Green India Challenge, planting saplings and nominating their counterparts to do so.
