Besides emerging as the 8th south Indian film to cross $3 million in the United States, the Pooja Hegde starrer sealed a place in the top 5 highest-grossing Telugu films of all time.

After hits like Julayi and S/O Satyamurthy, the successful duo of Bunny and Trivikram has presented an absorbing and entertaining family drama which despite having a cliché and predictable storyline managed to entertain. Despite bagging mixed reactions from critics, the masala film entertained the audience with the dual avatars of the protagonist, bikini avatar of the heroine and foot-tapping numbers like Seeti Maar which created a rage in the theaters. Boyapati Srinu succeeded in bringing out the aggressive side of Bunny in the 2016 high-octane actioner Sarrainodu. Starring Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa as the leading ladies, the film ended up as a major commercial success at the global box-office.
