'They Call Him OG' pre-release event: Pawan Kalyan promises future collaboration with Sriya Reddy at THIS condition

Pawan Kaylan's gangster drama 'They Call Him: OG', directed by Sujeeth, is set to hit the screens this week. The film stars 'Salaar' fame Sriya Reddy, who also joins the team playing a key role. Recently, the Power Star shared that he will work on a film with her if she is portrayed in a "powerful" role.

Pawan Kalyan hails Sriya Priya's fitness levels

The 'OG' makers recently organized a pre-release event ahead of the film's release on September 25. As per a CineExpress report, during the event, Pawan Kalyan made a speech where he praised Sriya Priya as a powerful performer. Lauding her fitness, he said, "Sriya Reddy is a powerful performer. She is a lioness. Her fitness levels will shock us. She has a strong punch power too and great oratory skills." He also shared his willingness to work on a "powerful film" with her. "She just asked me one thing – a powerful film. If I ever have to act with you (Sriya) in a powerful role, I am game," he said.

Sriya Reddy made her breakthrough in the film 'Thimiru'. She recently gained widespread recognition for her role as Radha Rama Mannar in the Prashanth Neel directorial 'Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire' starring alongside Prabhas and Prithiviraj Sukumaran.

About the movie 'They Call Him OG'

'OG' also stars Bollywood's Emraan Hashmi as the main antagonist, who was recently seen making a special appearance in Aryan Khan's directorial debut show, 'The Ba***ds of Bollywood'.

The film stars Priyanka Mohan as the female lead and further includes Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Shaam and Harish Uthaman in supporting roles.

The film's trailer was released on September 21, 2025, at the OG Concert event held at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Hyderabad. The launch was a grand musical celebration attended by nearly 40,000 fans. The trailer was originally expected to be released online at 10:08 AM, but was postponed to the evening event.
