Pawan Kalyan in a unique role

Pawan Kalyan will be seen in a unique role with this upcoming pan-India film. In the film, the Power Star will be seen playing the role of Ojas Gambheera, a gangster who returns to Mumbai's underworld after a decade. As seen in the trailer, his character is seen as intense and has a mastery in handling lethal weapons, especially a katana sword. At the same time, he also has martial arts skills and a commanding presence, which make the character memorable and impactful. The film has been in production for a long time, making it a much-anticipated film for the fans. His previous release, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu,' despite a lot of hype, could not hold good numbers at the box office. Fans have high expectations for the upcoming flick, which will be released soon.

Emraan Hashmi's Telugu debut

The pan-India film features Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi playing the main antagonist opposite Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan. He is making his Telugu debut playing the character Omi Bhau in the film. Speaking more about his character, he is seen as a ruthless Mumbai gangster set up for a thrilling conflict with Kalyan's character, Ojas Gambheera. His character has long hair, a beard, and menace in his eyes. 'The Ba***ds of Bollywood' actor has been portraying some negative roles in films lately. He also played the villain in Salman Khan's 'Tiger 3' and received applause from fans for his role.

Director Sujeeth's high-octane action flick

'They Call Him OG' is a high-octane action thriller that shows Pawan Kalyan in a fierce avatar. As seen in the trailer, the film has intense sequences and specialized fight scenes, making it a mass entertainer. Guns, swords, and grenades are all over the place. Directed by 'Sahoo' fame Sujeeth, the action films include choreographed martial arts and suspenseful and powerful confrontations between Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi's characters. It is expected to be a treat for the lovers of action and thriller movies.

As already mentioned, the film includes actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan and Bollywood's Emraan Hashmi; the film also features a power star cast. The film also includes 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' fame Priyanka Mohan as the female lead, playing the wife of Pawan Kalyan's character named Kanmani. It also includes Sriya Reddy, known for her powerful performance in impactful roles, and as seen in the trailer of the film, she seems to keep the intensity just high. She is known for her performance in 'Salaar.'The film also features Arjun Das and veteran actor Prakash Raj in important roles. The music is composed by Thaman.

Rare A-rated mass gangster drama

'They Call Him OG' is Pawan Kalyan's first film in 14 years to receive an A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), marking it as a rare A-rated mass gangster drama. It includes raw, gritty action and violence for a mature audience. The film also has graphic violence and disturbing imagery, and it maintains a dark and realistic tone uncommon in mainstream Telugu cinema. Some of the moments include Pawan Kalyan slashing his enemies with his swords and striking with his Tommy gun.
