These 5 Telugu films whip up a storm at the box office this December

Believe it or not, we are less than a month away from the New Year 2020. Starting on Thursday, December 5 and running for two weeks through Friday, December 20, we will showcase five of the most highly-acclaimed Telugu films that are gearing up for a December release. From Prati Roju Pandaage to 90ML, Ruler, Donga, to Venky Mama, Tollywood has at least five films whipping up a storm at the global box office this December 2019. Take a look!

Kartikeya Gummakonda's upcoming film 90ML is all set to the hit the silver screens on December 5. The romantic action-comedy is directed by debutant Sekhar Reddy and produced by Ashok Reddy Gummakonda under the banner of Kartikeya Creative Works. Famous television actress Neha Solanki is paired opposite Kartikeya in the movie, which also features renowned actors like Ravi Kishan and Satya Prakash in significant roles. Anup Rubens is in charge of composing the music for this flick.

Directed by Maruthi, Prati Roju Pandaage stars Sai Dharam Tej and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles. Allu Aravind, SKN and Bunny Vasu are producing the film under the banner of GA2 Pictures in association with UV Creations. S Thaman is composing music for the songs while R Rathnavelu handled the cinematography. Also starring stars Raashi Khanna, Satyaraj, Rajitha, Rao Ramesh, Suhas, Vijayakumar, Bhadram and Praveen, the film is scheduled to be released in theatres on December 20.

Touted to be an action entertainer, Ruler directed by KS Ravi Kumar, will reportedly showcase Balayya Babu in dual avatars. It will be his 105th film, which has Sonal Chauhan and Vedika as the leading ladies. Bhoomika Chawla will be seen essaying a crucial role in the movie, which has music by Chiranthan Bhatt. Bankrolled by C Kalyan under the Happy Movies banner, Ruler is slated for a release on December 20.

Karthi who is riding high on the success of his latest thriller Khaidi is now all set to show his action hero avatar to his fans in his next titled Donga. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film will see Jyothika and Sathya Raj playing crucial roles. Tipped to be an emotional action-entertainer, Donga is bankrolled by Jyothika's brother Suraj under the banner Viacom18 Studios. While Govind Vasantha is composing the tunes, acclaimed cinematographer RD Rajasekhar is handling the camera for this film. Donga is slated to hit the marquee on December 20.

Venky Mama is an emotional comedy-entertainer directed by Jai Lava Kusa fame KS Ravindra (Bobby) and produced by Suresh Productions in collaboration with People's Media Factory. The film stars Venkatesh, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, Raashi Khanna and Paayal Rajput in the lead roles. S Thaman has composed music for this flick while Prasad Murella handled the cinematography. Also starring Prakash Raj, Sampath Raj, Rao Ramesh and Posani Krishna Murali, Venky Mama is slated to release on December 13.
