The beloved 'Baba' Sanjay Dutt turned a year older today, and the makers of the upcoming horror-comedy 'The Raja Saab' shared the first-look poster from the film. The powerful poster reveals Sanjay Dutt in an aged look as he seems to be taking on the role of Prabhas's grandfather in the much-anticipated film.

A chilling look

In the poster, he is seen wearing a traditional outfit with long, flowing grey hair and a thick moustache. The 'KGF 2' actor looks intense and commanding in the poster. Keeping a haunted look, he is seen in cobwebs, in a decaying room. With the picture, the makers wrote, "Team #TheRajaSaab wishes the Powerhouse and versatile Sanju Baba - @DuttSanjay a very Happy Birthday. Get ready to witness a terrifying presence that will shake you to the core this Dec 5th in cinemas."

About the film

Directed by Maruthi, The Raja Saab stars pan-India icon Prabhas in the lead, alongside actresses Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar.
The film is expected to be about Prabhas playing a young heir who is caught between his royal heritage and rebellious spirit. While he is running short of finances, he looks at buying his family's mansion, which comes with the surprise that it is haunted by a vengeful yet mysterious spirit called Raja Saab.The film will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.This is Sanjay Dutt's latest venture in the South after notable appearances in films like 'KGF: Chapter 2' and 'Leo'. He will be further seen in the Kannada movie 'KD: The Devil', releasing in September 2025.
