‘The Raja Saab’: Andhra Pradesh allows Rs 1000 premiere tickets for Prabhas starrer horror-comedy film
Andhra Pradesh government has approved a ticket price hike for Prabhas' upcoming horror-comedy, 'The Raja Saab', releasing January 9. Paid premieres are capped at Rs 1000, while single-screen tickets rise by Rs 150 to Rs 297, and multiplexes by Rs 200 to Rs 377 for ten days. The film also features Zarina Wahab, Sanjay Dutt, and others.
Prabhas who was last seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, will be next seen in the horror comedy ‘The Raja Saab’. The film is set to release on January 9 and ahead of it the Andhra Pradesh government has approved a ticket price hike. The revised ticket prices will apply to both paid premiere shows and regular screenings across the state.

Ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh

According to a report by Hindustan Times, ‘The Raja Saab’ will have paid premiere shows starting Thursday, whose ticket prices have been capped at Rs 1000. These shows are expected to see huge demand.

Regular shows of the film will begin on January 9. For single-screen theatres in Andhra Pradesh, ticket prices have been increased by Rs 150. This means a ticket will now cost Rs 297 per seat. In Andhra Pradesh multiplexes, ticket prices have been increased by Rs 200. The new price is Rs 377 per seat. This revised rate will be applicable for the first ten days of the film’s run. The government has also allowed the makers to screen up to five shows per day during this period.

Directed by Maruthi, ‘The Raja Saab’ is a horror-comedy where Prabhas plays the role of Raja Saab, a man and his grandmother is played by veteran actress Zarina Wahab. In the trailer shared by the makers, it shows Prabhas who seems to inherit an abandoned haveli and gets to understand its hidden truths.The movie features Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan and Riddhi Kumar as female leads.
