Super Star Mahesh Babu opens up about his journey in Tollywood

Superstar Mahesh Babu is currently basking in the success of his landmark 25th film Maharshi. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, and Allari Naresh has already collected Rs 175 crores at the worldwide box office in 30 days. The successful actor has given his fans some revelations by sharing his inspiring journey as a successful actor of the Telugu Industry.

Mahesh Babu, who is one of the most sought after actors known for his versatility and brilliant performances in films like Rajakumarudu, Yuvaraju, Murari, Okkadu, Pokiri, etc., is talking about his splendid acting journey since childhood as a child artist Mahesh shares, ''It’s difficult to describe it in a few words. However, all I can say is that it has been extremely satisfactory, humbling and even overwhelming at times. My father’s fans and my fans have stood by me through thick and thin. They have contributed to making my journey memorable. All I want to do is good cinema, I want to entertain my audience,'' says Mahesh Babu.

Mahesh Babu is an exceptionally talented actor. In 20 years, he racked up over 25 films. Mahesh Babu made his leading debut with K Raghavendra Rao’s Rajakumarudu in 1999, where he played a lover boy. It was followed by several films over the next few years and bug his big break was Okkadu (2003) by Guna Sekhar. The years 2005 and 2006 with films like Athadu and Pokiri doing well at the box office and that were when the world got to identify the real potential of this wonderful actor.

Mahesh Babu didn’t look back after that. He went on to star in big budget films like Sainikudu, Athidhi, Khaleja, Dookudu, Businessman, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, 1: Nenokkadine, Srimanthudu, Bharat Ane Nenu and Maharshi. The fans have always supported and poured in all the love for their favourite superstar with unconditional support, and the superstar does not fail to amaze them every single time by delivering remarkable performances.

Mahesh Babu celebrated the success of his recent release Maharshi with his family and what better than a vacation! He headed to London and celebrated the grand success of his 25th film by taking a break with his adorable family there. With the successful journey that the superstar has shared with his fans, the audience is undoubtedly waiting even more for his upcoming projects.

Mahesh Babu has teamed up with Anil Ravipudi for his 26th film titled, Sarileru Neekevvaru. Rashmika Mandanna has been roped in to play the leading lady opposite Mahesh in the movie. The team is all set to shoot the first schedule of the film in Kashmir, and the lead pair will be part of it. Mahesh Babu will be seen playing an army officer in the film. Said to be an action drama, the film will jointly be bankrolled by Ramabrahmam Sunkara, Dil Raju and Mahesh Babu under AK Entertainments in association with Sri Venkateswara Creations and GMB Entertainment.

The film, which also features Vijayashanti, Rajendra Prasad Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna, Pradeep Rawat, Rohini, Kireeti Damaraju, Sachin Khedekar, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Satyam Rajesh, Vennela Kishore and Brahmanandam, is all set to hit the theatres on Sankranti 2020.
