Sreeleela has become one of the top sought-after actresses in the entertainment industry. She was recently seen on the big screens sharing space with Pawan Kalyan in his latest cop action drama, ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’. In a recent interaction, the ‘Guntur Kaaram’ actress revealed that she almost quit acting due to trolling on social media.
Raashii Khanna is also seen as one of the leading ladies in ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’. As part of the promotions for their Ugadi release, both actresses recently sat down for a chat with anchor Suma. During the conversation, the anchor asked them whether trolling on social media affects them.
Sreeleela considered leaving films initially
Replying to her, Sreeleela shared that she was very sensitive at first. She cried and would reconsider her decision to act and go back to college. “I did when I first started in this industry. I used to feel so bad about it, I would cry. I even told my mother, I don’t think I’ll be able to do this. Should I go back to school or college? I was so sensitive, but now I’m immune to it,” she said.
Raashii Khanna says people judge too fast
Raashii Khanna also spoke about trolling. She said she still feels it sometimes. She said, “I feel it a little bit now, because the trolling has gotten intense.” She feels people judge too fast. She said, “I think they pass judgment without really knowing the truth.” She also said, “The character I’ve built for so long, I just fear that…” Later, she added, “People write anything just for clickbait though.”
Sreeleela had a slightly positive view. She said, “But I feel like people today have an intellect of their own. So, even when they see negativity, they think a little.” The ‘Yodha’ actress agreed with her but still mentioned that many people post without thinking.
Actresses work front
On the work front, Sreeleela will be starring opposite Kartik Aaryan in a romantic musical film directed by Anurag Basu. On the other hand, Raashii Khanna also has multiple upcoming projects in her kitty.
