She expressed strong support for producer Supriya Yarlagadda. The film, directed by Shaneil Deo, promises a gripping narrative of betrayal and vengeance, shot in Telugu and Hindi.

Congratulations to this amazing team Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur.”

About ‘Dacoit’

Directed by Shaneil Deo, who makes his directorial debut, the film stars Adivi Sesh as Hari, who is sent to jail even though he is innocent. After he escapes, he returns with anger. Someone he trusted betrayed him. That moment changed his life. Hari wants revenge on his ex-girlfriend Juliet, played by Mrunal Thakur. The film shows his pain, his past, and his fight.The movie has been shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and will have a worldwide release on April 10.The movie also casts Anurag Kashyap as a cop and includes Prakash Raj, Zayn Marie Khan and Atul Kulkarni.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s ‘Maa Itni Bangaaram

On the other hand, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is shooting her upcoming film ‘Maa Itni Bangaaram’, directed by Nandini Reddy. Samantha will play a strong and layered character in the drama. The initial teaser shows her as a loving housewife who also bashes goons outside her house. The film is co-produced under her banner and is also backed by her husband, filmmaker Raj Nidimoru.The film also casts Gulshan Devaiah and Diganth. It is scheduled to hit theatres on May 15, 2026.
