After her fairy-tale wedding with boyfriend Naga Chaitanya, Samantha Akkineni has altered her strategy in South cinema by showing her affinity towards content-driven flicks instead of commercial potboilers. Following impressive performances in ‘Rangasthalam’, ‘Mahanati’ and the recent ‘U-Turn’, the 31-year-old actress is currently sharing screen-space with her hubby for Shiva Nirvana’s emotional drama, tentatively titled as ‘Majili’.

‘Miss Granny’ showcases the story of a grandma who magically finds herself in the body of her 20-year-old self after clicking a picture in a mysterious studio. Directed by ‘Kalyana Vaibhogame’ fame Nandini Reddy, the comedy-drama is jointly bankrolled by Suresh Babu and Sunitha Tati.
