Rasha Thadani gets an ethnic makeover for her T’wood debut
Rasha Thadani is set to make her Telugu debut in director Ajay Bhupathi’s upcoming film Srinivasa Mangapuram, starring opposite Jayakrishna Ghattamneni. The makers unveiled her character poster on Friday, introducing her as Manga. Dressed in a soft lavender ethnic ensemble, adorned with jhumkas and framed by hibiscus blooms, Rasha’s look hints at the rooted, traditional world the film inhabits.Speaking about the character, Ajay Bhupathi said, “Manga is a lively, bubbly character with two distinct shades. Set against the backdrops of Tirupati and Ballari, the story highlights these contrasts in both Manga and Jayakrishna’s roles. While Jayakrishna’s character, Srinu, is tough and rugged, Rasha’s Manga represents the softer, gentler presence in his life.”Elaborating on the emotional core of the story, Ajay added, “The story explores the differences between these two individuals and follows how they fall in love and navigate life together. Rasha is also learning Telugu; although she won’t be dubbing for the character, she is picking up the language to better understand the role and truly get into its skin.”
