Rana Daggubati takes up the Green India Challenge after being nominated by Prabhas and Shruti Haasan

Bhallaladeva, aka Rana Daggubati, took up the Green India Challenger after being nominated by Baahubali, aka Prabhas and actor-musician Shruti Haasan.
Sharing a picture of him planting a tree, Rana apologised for being late to the game and wrote on his social media, “Little delayed but here are 2 one for the #Adipurush #Prabhas and the other for The rockstar @shrutihaasan here you go!! #GreenIndiaChallenge nominating everyone who follows me and has the means to....go for it! RT for a greener India!!” (sic) He also urged everyone who follows him to do their bit for a greener India and plant a sapling.

Numerous Tollywood stars have taken up the challenge and planted saplings either at home or at public spaces after Prabhas took up the third instalment of the challenge after lockdown, during unlock. Rana took up the challenge and planted three saplings at Ramanaidu Studios after Shruti Haasan also nominated him recently for the same. After Prabhas took it up, numerous stars like Shruti Haasan, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, Renu Desai, Kartikeya, Bhumika and more also took up the challenge.
Rana Daggubati recently made news when he tied the knot with Miheeka Bajaj in a fairytale ceremony earlier this month. The pre-wedding festivities and the wedding ceremony itself, all of which were close-knitted affairs, were much talked about. Pictures from the mehendi, haldi, pelli koduku function, wedding and the sangeet still make rounds on social media and get written about. Rana had announced that he was taken after lockdown, and a roka ceremony attended by both families followed soon.
