'Raja the Great': Five reasons to watch Ravi Teja and Mehreen Pirzada starrer

Ravi Teja and Mehreen Pirzada starrer ‘Raja the Great’ releases on October 18, 2017, right before Diwali and fans couldn’t be more excited.
In the film, Ravi Teja will essay the role of a blind man, unaffected by his disability. ‘Raja the Great’ is directed by Anil Ravipudi, with Dil Raju producing the venture. Sai Kartheek has lent his finesse to the soundtrack.

Ravi Teja’s role
Ravi Teja plays the role of a blind man called Raja in the film. The son of a policewoman, his other senses help him lead a rather normal life and help him remain in control of situations he would otherwise not be able to due to his disability. While many actors have in their careers played the role of the blind successfully, the trailers hint at nothing but success for Ravi Teja too.
The storyline
Like we previously mentioned, Ravi Teja plays the role of a blind man unhindered by his disability. The trailers hint that even his mother is so confident in his abilities, they she recommends him to the higher-ups when the search is on for a missing girl, kidnapped by the antagonist. With a storyline like that, things are bound to get interesting in ‘Raja the Great’.
Mehreen Pirzada’s acting
While a lot is said and done about the heroes of Indian cinema, a lot of heroines remain unappreciated. In her recently released ‘Mahanubhavudu’, Mehreen Pirzada had a prominent role to play and she had more than proved her mettle. With the film, she had proved that she was more than just a pretty face and with her role as a girl on the run, it’s bound she gets the same scope of performance in ‘Raja the Great’ too.
Ravi Teja’s son Madhan
Ravi Teja’s son Madhan will be making his acting debut with ‘Raja the Great’. The film will see him essay an important role, that of his father’s younger self. While Ravi Teja was against the fact that his son would debut at such a young age, we guess the kid was such a natural that even papa couldn’t say no! It would be interesting to see how adorable this young kid will be on screen as a young Raja.
A derivation from Ravi Teja’s usual mass avatar
Ravi Teja is known to be a mass entertainer, earning him the moniker of being a ‘Mass Maharaja’. But recently, the actor had stated that he will no longer work in the films that follow the same old song and dance routine. Coming back after a long hibernation, with his last film being ‘Bengal Tiger’ in 2015, the actor seems to have found a new zeal in him to not accept regular roles. Kudos!
