'Raaka' actor Allu Arjun’s birthday event turns chaotic; Police lathi charge to control fans in Hyderabad

Actor Allu Arjun celebrated his 44th birthday on April 8, but the celebrations outside his residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, quickly turned chaotic due to the huge crowd of fans. Many admirers started gathering near his house even before midnight to wish their favourite star in person. As the night progressed, the number of people increased rapidly. Fans arrived with placards, gifts, and loud cheers, hoping to catch a glimpse of the actor. Some burst firecrackers, while others offered prayers for his well-being. It was a celebratory atmosphere that was becoming difficult to manage.As the excitement grew, the crowd began pushing closer to the actor’s house gates despite barricades set up by security teams. As per Hindustan Times, the situation became tense when hundreds of fans tried to move forward simultaneously. Police officials present at the location attempted to control the gathering and asked fans to stay behind the barricades. However, the pressure from the crowd continued to increase. Consequently, they had to invoke a “rather mundane” crime to disperse parts of the crowd and end the situation. Videos circulating on social media showed fans running and shouting while officers used batons to guide them away from the entrance.Allu Arjun, undeterred by the brief disruption, took the time to greet the fans who had come out to celebrate his birthday. He first stepped out late at night and waved at them from a distance, thanking them for their love and support. On Wednesday morning, he came out again to greet them properly. The actor twined his palms in gratitude and smiled at the crowd past the barricades. As the crowd cheered, the actor edged closer and began to shake hands with some of the fans. He was even greeted by a fan with a unique appearance from ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’.With the celebrations, the actor’s birthday also brought a major update about his next film. Director Atlee announced the title of their new film, ‘Raaka’, and unveiled a first glimpse of Allu Arjun. The update sent fans into a frenzy all across India.
