'Spirit' – The most awaited project

'Spirit' is an upcoming 2027 Telugu-language action-drama where Prabhas plays a ruthless yet honest police officer. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of 'Animal' fame, the pan-India project also stars Triptii Dimri, Vivek Oberoi, and Prakash Raj.The first look poster showed Prabhas in a rugged avatar with long hair, beard, and visible bruises, holding a cigarette and glass while Triptii lights it.

'Fauzi' – A patriotic drama

Prabhas will next be seen in 'Fauzi' which is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi of 'Sita Ramam' fame. The film is expected to hit theatres during Dussehra 2026.He will play a soldier and share screen space with Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada, and Anupam Kher. Internet personality Imanvi makes her debut as the female lead opposite Prabhas.

'Kalki 2' – Mythological sequel

Prabhas is also returning for 'Kalki 2', the sequel to the 2024 hit Kalki 2898 AD. Reports suggest he may join the sets from April 10, 2026.Amitabh Bachchan has already begun shooting, reprising his role as Ashwatthama.
The expectations are high for the Nag Ashwin's directorial mythological action flick.

Prabhas on release plans

During a recent interaction with the team of 'Couple Friendly', Prabhas addressed fans’ expectations for more films. He said, “I know what you all want. That’s why I’m trying to make three movies per year. But due to release schedules, only two are coming.”He added that filmmaking takes time and release dates need proper spacing, which sometimes affects plans.Meanwhile, Prabhas was last seen in director Maruthi's film 'The Raja Saab' which was criticized for it's shoddily written story line and even for it's inconsistent pacing.
