Pooja Bedi shares special memory with Jr NTR; Shares a 'Shakti' moment from the sets

Pooja Bedi recently commended Tollywood star Jr NTR, taking a look back at her journey in Telugu cinema. She shared a memory that was close to her heart as she spoke about her experience working with the ‘RRR’ star.

Pooja Bedi will soon be seen in the upcoming Telugu romantic film ‘Baraabar Premista’. According to a report by Deccan Chronicle, during her speech, she talked about the fantasy action film ‘Shakti’, which she was a part of.

A ‘Shakti’ scene she never forgot

The ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’ actor recalled an incident from the shoot. In the film 'Shakti', released in 2011, she played the wife of Sonu Sood. Her role had a negative shade. There was a scene where her character was meant to fight the hero. At that moment, Jr NTR made his stand very clear. He said, “I will not do a fight scene with a woman.”

Pooja Bedi said that this single moment increased her respect for him. She felt that such values are rare in today’s busy film world.

Pooja Bedi’s presence in Telugu cinema

The actress also spoke about her long link with Telugu films. She made her Tollywood debut years before ‘Shakti’. She played a doctor in Chittemma Mogudu, which starred Mohan Babu. Over the years, she has worked in many industries. She has seen many changes in filmmaking.

Her latest relesae is set to hit the big screens on February 6.

Jr NTR’s upcoming work

On the other hand, Jr NTR, after his debut in Bollywood with Hrithik Roshan in ‘War 2’ is now working on his next pan-India film with ‘KGF’ and ‘Salaar’ director Prashanth Neel. The movie is tentatively named ‘NTRNEEL’ or also called ‘Dragon’. It will feature Rukmini Vasanth and is set to include Anil Kapoor.
