Pawan Kalyan's ex-wife Renu Desai, son Akira Nandan test positive for Covid-19

In India, cases of Covid-19 are on the rise. Every day, a growing number of celebrities test positive for the novel coronavirus. It is already a known fact that many celebrities including, Mahesh Babu, Manchu Lakshmi, Sathyaraj, Rajendra Prasad and Trisha Krishnan have been affected by the virus.
Actor-turned-filmmaker Renu Desai is the most recent celebrity to be diagnosed with the virus.Her son Akira Nandan has also tested positive for Coronavirus. The former actress took to her Instagram handle and issued a statement, stating that they both tested positive for Covid a few days ago and are currently in isolation.
The statement issued by Renu reads, ''Hello, in spite of sitting at home most of the time and sitting at home for New Year, Akira and I tested positive with symptoms a few days ago. We both are recovering now, and I request all of you to please take this 3rd wave seriously. Wear your masks and be careful as much as possible. I had both my vaccines last year and was going to give Akira now. But he tested positive before that.''

Renu Desai's tryst with Tollywood was cut shot after her marriage to Pawan Kalyan. The beautiful actress, who is remembered for her roles opposite Pawan Kalyan in Badri and Johnny, is looking after his son Akira Nandan and Aadya in Pune after his separation from Pawan Kalyan. The Bheemla Nayak actor often meets his children there. For the past few years, Akira and Aadya have been making noise with Pawan Kalyan at every function held at the mega family.

Renu Desai had announced that she is getting married for the second time. She also directed the Marathi film 'Ishq Wala Love' starring her son Akira Nandan in a significant role. She hosted a television program in Telugu too. Reportedly, Renu Desai is all set to make her comeback with a web series soon.
