Niharika Konidela addresses the rumoured mega family rift with Allu Arjun: 'Everyone has their own reasons'

Pawan Kalyan made a significant entry into Parliament by winning the 2024 Lok Sabha election from Andhra Pradesh. The mega family, including his brother Naga Babu, Chiranjeevi, niece Niharika Konidela, nephew Ram Charan, and others, celebrated the victory together.

However, actor Allu Arjun’s absence from the celebration drew attention from fans and netizens, who speculated that there might be a rift between him and the family. This speculation arose because Allu had earlier supported Pawan’s opposition candidate during the election campaign. Niharika Konidela recently addressed the rumoured tension among the mega-Alli family.

In a recent chat with M9, Niharika mentioned that the family did not discuss Allu's public support for Silpa Ravi Reddy in Nandyal. She explained that the family chose not to talk about it at home, respecting each individual's personal beliefs and choices regarding politics, religion, and spirituality.



Niharika denied claims that a tweet from her father was about Allu, suggesting that it was his opinion on a different matter. She emphasized that her priority is always family and chose not to comment further on the issue.

Last month, Niharika was asked about the same rumors and the fact that their cousin Sai Dharam Tej had unfollowed Arjun on Twitter. She admitted she was unaware of this and expressed that if it were true, it would be for a reason, but she trusts they have their own justifications.

In May, Allu Arjun issued a statement: “Firstly, I want to clarify that I’m not affiliated with any political party. I remain neutral and support my people, regardless of their political affiliations. This includes my uncle Pawan Kalyan, whom I'll always stand by, along with my friend Ravi and my father-in-law, Mr. Reddy. I made a promise to my friend, Mr. Ravi, to support him, but I couldn’t fulfill it last time. To keep my word, this time I went to Nandyal to support him.”

Pawan Kalyan is now the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
