Monday Motivation: 5 Jaw-dropping Looks of ‘Potugadu’ fame Sakshi Chaudhary

Owing to unmatched popularity and overnight stardom, several divas hailing from different parts of the country tend to try out their luck in Indian cinema. While a few of them manage to make it big in the showbiz world, many starlets either have to sacrifice their dreams or settle down with small roles & supporting stuff. Amid this scenario, a beautiful belle born & raised in Dehradun has struck the right chord with South Indian viewers courtesy her glamourous personality, sizzling screen-presence and convincing acting chops.

It’s really surprising to see a talented actress like Sakshi Chaudhary striving hard to bag her big break despite being in the film industry for more than five years. The leggy lass was among the Bollywood headlines in 2014 when she reportedly signed a three-film deal with producer Firoz Nadiadwala. However, nothing got finalised and Sakshi went on to work in Tamil and Telugu. After shaking her belly in Shivrajkumar’s Kannada thriller ‘Rustum’, she is essaying the titular role in the upcoming periodic war film ‘Suvarna Sundari’. Check out some of her hot photos.

Sakshi Chaudhary was born and brought up in the interim capital of Uttarakhand, Dehradun. After wrapping up her childhood education, she went on to pursue engineering in Nano Technology. With a solid academic record, the beautiful diva was constantly pressurised by her cousins to have a go into the glamour arena. Accompanying her brother to a modelling contest, she casually gave an introductory audition and got passed on to further rounds with her gorgeous looks and screen presence. Surprising one and all, Sakshi went on to bag the title at Gladrags Megamodel Contest during her fourth year of graduation.

Upon the Megamodel Contest, the Chaudhary girl went into modelling and walked the ramp for top designers across the country. Her curvaceous figure, attractive looks and alluring persona perfectly fitted the bill as a model. Within six months, she changed her mind and decided to become an actress. Starting off as an ad-film personality, Sakshi featured in several TV commercials for famous Indian and global brands. She gradually built up her emoting skills and was fully prepared to try out her luck in Indian cinema.

Without much difficulty, Sakshi forayed into Telugu cinema by portraying the heroine’s role in Manchu Manoj’s ‘Potugadu’. She delivered a spectacular performance as Mumtaz and earned good marks from both viewers and critics. Her dazzling outfits and sizzling dance moves in Pyar Mein Padipoya song managed to impress the masses big-time and bring in repeated audience to the theaters. After a two-year gap, she returned to the celluloid as a lady don opposite Allari Naresh in ‘James Bond’, the Telugu remake of Korean film ‘My Wife is a Gangster’.

She made her Kollywood debut in 2017 with Saran’s ‘Aayirathil Iruvar’ and played the bold role of Adhirshtamalar with ease. After the box-office debacle of ‘Selfie Raja’, Sakshi changed gears and went on to exhibit her incredible dancing skills for a special song in Gopichand’s action-thriller ‘Oxygen’. She also moved her belly in Shivrajkumar’s upcoming Kannada thriller ‘Rustum’. With yet-to-release films like ‘Oollo Pelliki Kukkala Hadavidi’ and ‘Magnet’ in the pipeline, Sakshi Chaudhary is essaying the titular role in the upcoming periodic war film ‘Suvarna Sundari’. The first look featured the stunning actress as a warrior queen.

In 2018, the gorgeous beauty made her first Bollywood outing with ‘YEH KAISA TIGDAM’ opposite the talented Ashutosh Rana. Despite a convincing performance, the Ismail Darbar directorial tanked at the box-office.
