Mehreen Pirzada turns 25: Swimsuits to LBDs, the Punjabi belle nails the fashion game

Popular South actress Mehreen Pirzada is turning 25 on Thursday and judging by her latest Instagram posts, she is celebrating her birthday in the Maldives. She recently jetted off to the island nation for a short holiday and her eye-popping postures on the white-sand beaches and clear blue waters have been breaking the internet. 2020 has been quite an eventful year for Mehreen with three releases in the first month itself. While ‘Entha Manchivaadavuraa’ ended up as an average grosser, ‘Pattas’ and ‘Aswathama’ enjoyed fruitful results at the box-office. Besides films and brand endorsements, the Punjabi beauty is a hot favourite among netizens when it comes to photo-shoots and stylish looks. Born into a Sikh family, Mehreen did her schooling at Ajmer and Gurgaon. Besides being the School Students Council Member, she bagged the International General Certificate of Secondary Education in merit class and appeared for the International Baccalaureate. She was also an NCC Cadet, an active member of the International Rotary Club and the Vice President at School Interact Club. In 2019, she went the extra mile and dubbed for herself in F2.

Mehreen Kaur Pirzada walked the ramp at the age of 10 and won the title of ‘Kasauli Princess’ at a beauty pageant. During her modelling days, she was crowned the ‘Miss Personality South Asia Canada 2013’ in Toronto. Besides working with popular designers through a prominent modelling company, she endorsed several products on TVC and print media, both in India and Canada. She appeared alongside Kollywood actor Vishal in a Television commercial for a popular cola brand.

The ‘Phillauri’ actress is a multi-talented personality with experience in air-pistol shooting and adrenaline sports. Despite qualifying for the national competitions on a couple of occasions, she had to give it a miss due to examinations. She is also the Silver Recipient from Duke of Edinburgh for Adventure and Trekking. The trained Bharatanatyam dancer also represented India at the Young Global Leaders Conference at Washington D.C. and New York City.

In her debut film itself (Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha), Mehreen struck the right chord with her glamorous avatar and solid acting chops. The following year, she made her Bollywood debut with the fantasy-comedy Phillauri alongside Anushka Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma. With back-to-back successes like Mahanubhavadu and Raja The Great, the Chanakya beauty focused on a lasting career down south. In 2019, she also made her leading lady debut in Punjabi cinema.

Mehreen Pirzada heaved a huge sigh of relief in 2019 with the stupendous success of ‘F2: Fun & Frustration’. Her rib-tickling role of Honey garnered a huge response from fans and her catch-phrase ‘Honey is the best’ went viral in no time. The superhit comedy entertainer was a must-win situation for the Punjabi diva as most of her previous films tanked at the ticket counters. However, with the fruitful result, she bounced back into form.
