Kiran Abbavaram and Priyanka Jawalkar starrer SR Kalyanamandapam to release only in theatres

The team of Kiran Abbavaram and Priyanka Jawalkar starrer SR Kalyanamandapam, Est. 1975, has announced that the film will hit screens only theatrically.
There were numerous speculations that the film’s team has cracked a great deal with an OTT platform and is all set for a digital release. Rubbishing the claims, the team put out a poster that reads ‘only in theatres’. Kiran Abbavaram also took to social media and wrote, “We all wanted you to watch #SRkalyanamandapam only in theatres.(sic)”

SR Kalyanamandapam is directed by Sridhar Gade and the film’s team has wrapped up shoot and post-production. Release has been halted as theatres in the Telugu states remain in lockdown. The film’s team has stated that once cinema halls resume operation, the film will hit big screens, with the promise of wholesome entertainment.
The team of Nani, Ritu Varma and Aishwarya Rajesh starrer Tuck Jagadish also refuted rumours recently of an OTT release. As movie buffs flocked to the theatres and made films like Krack and Jathi Ratnalu blockbusters, producers are willing to wait and not release their films digitally yet.
