Ileana D’Cruz lashes out at fans who misbehaved with her

Ileana D'Cruz is an absolute badass and there's no denying that! Recently, the actress had a rather unfortunate encounter while promoting her upcoming film 'Baadshaho'. The incident happened when her car was stuck in traffic in Mumbai. The offenders banged against the window, pressed themselves against the car. One of them went to the extent of lying down on the top of the bonnet.They followed her car even after the signal turned green.
Ileana lashed out at the miscreants on Twitter expressing her angst over the incident. She wrote, “It’s a pretty shitty world we live in. I’m a public figure. I understand that I don’t have the luxury of a private & an anonymous life.(1/2) (sic).” In another tweet she wrote, “But that doesn’t give any man the right to misbehave with me. Don’t confuse “fan antics” with that. I am a WOMAN at the end of the day. (2/2) (sic).”
The tweets went viral with outraged internet users condemning the heinous act. Judwaa 2 star Varun Dhawan re-tweeted Ileana’s posts lending his support of his ‘Main Tera Hero’ co-star.
This is not the first time when a female celebrity was harassed by male fans. Vidya Balan, Anushka Sharma, Kajol, Priyanka Chopra too have been harassed earlier. But kudos to Ileana and these actresses who instead of keeping mum, tackled the so-called fans and put them in their places.
