Growing up with Hrithik Roshan as a superhero
While speaking to India Today, the 'Zombie Reddy' star shared that it was none other than Bollywood's Greek God, Hrithik Roshan, who was his childhood superhero. He mentioned that he didn't even watch 'Spider-Man', and the 'War 2' star had a huge impact on him.
Sajja said, "I have never watched any superhero film from Hollywood. I didn't even watch 'Spider-Man' when I was young. I didn't grow up in that kind of atmosphere where Western films would have an influence on me. The only superhero that I knew when I was young was Hrithik sir."
About 'Mirai'
Teja Sajja's recently released film, 'Mirai' is a fantasy adventure thriller which tells the story of a young man, Vedha. He is destined to protect the nine sacred scriptures which contain enormous power. The villain, Mahabir aka Black Sword, played by
Manchu Manoj, wants to get a hold of it for world domination.
The film also stars
Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran,
Jagapathi Babu, Getup Srinu, and Jayaram, among others in key roles.
The film has been performing incredibly at the box office as it minted over Rs 83.4 crore domestically since its release on September 12.
