Happy Birthday Srinidhi Shetty: The 'KGF' beauty looks drop-dead gorgeous in these unseen pictures

After enjoying super success as a model with multiple beauty titles in her kitty, Mangalore girl Srinidhi Shetty stepped foot into the showbiz world by playing the leading lady opposite Rocking Star Yash in the Kannada blockbuster KGF. Despite having a limited screen time, she managed to bag brownie points for her cute looks, arresting beauty and captivating screen-presence. After enjoying her quarantine life during the 6-month lockdown, she recently joined the sets of ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ which is currently undergoing its final leg of shoot. Besides this massive sequel, Srinidhi is also making her Kollywood debut opposite Chiyaan Vikram in the upcoming film Cobra.

The gorgeous gal is celebrating her 28th birthday on Wednesday (October 21) and on the special occasion, peep down some of her unseen pictures in which she literally steamed up the cyberspace.

Hailing from Karnataka, Srinidhi Shetty was born into a Tulu-speaking Tuluva Bunt family. She wrapped up her primary education in Mangalore and obtained a Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Jain University in Bangalore. After wrapping up her studies in distinction, the beauty with brains even worked as a software developer at a reputed MNC for a brief period.

In 2012, for the first time, Srinidhi Shetty took part in a Fresh Face contest and stood one among the top five finalists. Despite busy with her software job, she didn’t neglect her passion for modelling and finally, in 2015, she got noticed by bagging the titles of Miss Karnataka and Miss Beautiful Smile at a popular beauty pageant. She kicked-off her career as a model by appearing in print ads and TV commercials.

In 2016, Srinidhi was crowned as Miss Supranational India 2016 at the finale which took place at Krynica-Zdrój in Poland. She also won the titles of Miss Supranational Asia and Oceania 2016 in the renowned pageant. Prior to this, she was selected as the finalist in the 2016 Miss Diva competition and won three additional titles for her smile, body and photogenic face.

Director Prashanth Neel was hell-bent on casting a Kannada girl opposite Yash in KGF and Srinidhi perfectly fitted the bill as Reena Desai. Despite having a limited screen time in the period actioner, the 28-year-old managed to bag brownie points for her cute looks, arresting beauty and captivating screen-presence. Her character is expected to have a lot of depth in Chapter 2 and recently, the final leg of shooting has kicked-off. Meanwhile, the second part of KGF will have popular actors like Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles.

During an earlier interview, Srinidhi revealed that she dropped as many as seven offers from South filmmakers for the sake of KGF: Chapter 2. “After the thunderous reception for the first part of KGF, the makers wanted to start the second chapter early than actually planned. Several filmmakers approached me to be a part of their projects which would require dates during the months of June and October. So, I had to drop them with no option left.”

In her second project itself, Srinidhi Shetty bagged a big opportunity to play the leading lady opposite national award-winning actor Chiyaan Vikram. Titled as ‘Cobra’, the supernatural thriller will mark the Kannada bombshell’s debut in Kollywood and the film debut of former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan. The shooting of the film is expected to resume in November or December.
