Perhaps one of the most famous additions to the list, this Telugu epic period action drama managed to create a massive buzz upon its release, and rightfully so. Starring N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan as the main leads, 'RRR' follows the life and friendship of two Indian revolutionaries, set in the pre-independence era. The film was packed with high-energy action sequences, and even the two actors’ chemistry on screen was also well praised by everyone.

3/7

Athadu

Mahesh Babu was seen in this 2005 action film as a hitman who goes on the run after he is accused of a murder that he did not commit. Babu starred in this iconic film alongside Sonu Sood, Trisha Krishnan, Prakash Raj and many more. The lead actor’s performance on screen was what made the movie so popular, while the action scenes throughout 'Athadu' managed to keep the audience engaged till the very end.

4/7

Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava

This film is another classic action film that was released in 2018 and stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr. in the lead role. Set in Rayalaseema, the film focuses on the factional violence that takes place in the village, and how one single man takes on the responsibility to bring peace to his home. 'Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava' explores themes like revenge and blood feuds is a must-have on your watchlist if you seek drama along with action-packed scenes.

5/7

Baahubali_ The Beginning

‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ is another iconic action film that won the hearts of many when it was first released almost 10 years ago. The epic saga tells the story of two warring cousins, Baahubali (played by Prabhas) and Bhallaladeva (Rana Daggubatti). The film went viral and fared well in theatres when it was released. The film has been continuously praised for its massive and action-packed battle sequences, along with its storyline as well. The series is split into two films, both of which became popular amongst the masses.

6/7

Mirchi

This film is perfect for those who seek a little action with romance in the films they watch. The film features a star-studded cast which includes Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Richa Gangopadhyay and many more. The story follows Jai, who returns to India after meeting a girl in Milan in order to help her deal with her family. Things take a turn when he finds out that he has some connection with them as well. 'Mirchi' features equal parts romance and equal parts action, ensuring that the audience does not miss out on anything. The movie was a commercial success at the time of its release and also helped in solidifying Prabhas’s image in the film industry.

7/7

Sarrainodu

‘Sarrainodu’ features the one and only Allu Arjun in the lead role. The film follows the typical plot line of ‘angry young man’; however, Arjun’s acting, along with his fighting sequences, manages to make this film one of the best additions to this list. The story follows Allu’s character as he gets into a lot of fights. After he refuses to meet a prospective bride, he ends up falling in love with someone else, which starts a chain of events that has him facing off with a powerful politician. Boyapati Sreenu's direction, along with the intense fighting scenes, makes this the perfect Telugu action film.
