Fondly known as Mega Star, Chiranjeevi is one of the biggest and highest-paid Tollywood actors even today. The actor has time and again proved himself to be silver screen worthy and has won hearts of many through powerful performances, unexpected appearances, fantastic dance moves, unique dressing sense, breathtaking fight sequences and impeccable comic timing. He leaves no stone unturned in leaving a mark whatever he plays. Be it the cobbler Sambayya in Swayam Krushi or his inimitable swagger in Gang Leader, he nailed it all perfectly. The ace actor was last seen playing Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which went down as far as the numbers are concerned. Koratala Siva directorial film Acharya
Chiranjeevi is all set to play the lead role in Koratala Siva directorial film tentatively called Chiru 152. Touted to be a socio-political entertainer, the plot of the movie reportedly revolves around a middle-aged Naxalite-turned-social reformer who launches a fight against the Endowments Department over misappropriation of temple funds and donations. Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainments jointly bankroll this most-anticipated project. Kajal Aggarwal has been approached to play the female lead in the film. Ram Charan would play an extended cameo.

Lucifer Telugu remake
Prithviraj Sukumaran directed Lucifer, starring Mohanlal, Vivek Oberoi, Manju Warrior, Tovino Thomas, Saikumar and Nyla Usha, told the story of thieves who begin to dress up as politicians to gain the power of a political godfather who suddenly dies. But they defeated by a tough man who gradually emerges to be the right replacement. Chiranjeevi is all set to play the role of Stephen Nedumpally essayed by Mohanlal in the Telugu remake of Lucifer. Saaho fame Sujeeth is helming the movie.

Bobby directorial film
Buzz is that Chiranjeevi is all set to team up with Sardar Gabbar Singh director Bobby and he also has reportedly gotten a green signal from the actor. The young director has narrated a script that seems to have convinced the star. Touted to be a full-length comedy entertainer, the film will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. Apparently, talks regarding their collaboration have reached the final stage, and it's just a matter of time before it is official.

Meher Ramesh's film
The latest reports suggest that Chiranjeevi might collaborate with director Meher Ramesh for an action entertainer. Apparently, Chiru has already heard the script of Ramesh and is impressed by his narration. Well, if all things materialise, the megastar will be ready with one more massy entertainer for us. Things are looking very positive at this point, and an official announcement on the actor-director collaboration could be in soon.

Trivikram Srinivas' film
According to the latest reports, Chiranjeevi is joining hands with director Trivikram Srinivas for a family entertainer. Yes, you heard it right. During the audio event of Vinaya Vidheya Rama, Chiru has confirmed that he has given his nod to do a film with Trivikram. Sources say the filmmaker is currently working on the script and has already finalised the subject of the project. The formal announcement about the production of the film is expected to be made by the end of the year, and if all goes well, then the power-packed movie will hit the theatres in 2022.

Boyapati Srinu's film
Powerful director Boyapati Srinu is planning a pakka commercial entertainer with Chiranjeevi. The actor-director duo is in talks for a path-breaking entertainer with a refreshing plot, but nothing has been finalised yet. We hear that the duo recently discussed a few ideas about a possible collaboration and locked in on an idea that belonged to the action genre. Prashanth Varma’s film
Prashanth Varma who made his directorial debut with the psychological thriller Awe in 2018 is reportedly in talks with Chiranjeevi for a sci-fi thriller. Reports suggested that the director intends to nab Chiru for the lead role in his film. The report adds that a popular production banner in Tollywood will also bankroll the project. Sources have informed the publication that Chiru has liked the idea of Prashanth Varma's film and will meet with the director soon to discuss the project further.
