The teaser of
Rana Daggubati and
Sai Pallavi’s upcoming film ‘Viraata Parvam’ will be unveiled by Megastar
Chiranjeevi on March 18th. The news was revealed through a special video in which an old-fashioned town crier makes the announcement in a loud way using his drums. Slated for a worldwide release on April 30th, the shooting of the intense action saga has been wrapped up and the post-production formalities are in full swing.
Directed by Venu Udugula of ‘Needi Naadi Oke Katha’ fame, Virata Parvam features an ensemble star cast like Nivetha Pethuraj, Priyamani, Nanditha Das, Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Rahul Ramakrishna, Eswari Rao and Sai Chand. The film is set in the interiors of Telangana and sheds light on the Naxal issues, specifically the moral dilemma that prevailed during these last years.
While ‘Mahanati’ cinematographer Dani Sanchez-Lopez has handled the camera and Suresh Bobbili has composed the music, Hollywood stunt director
Stefan Richter has reportedly choreographed the action sequences. The film has been in the making for more than a year and the outbreak of COVID has delayed the proceedings. However, the shooting resumed from November 2020 at a rapid pace and the first look teaser showcased the ‘Baahubali’ actor as a gun-toting Naxalite commander with the name, Comrade Ravanna.
