Chiranjeevi makes special request to Buchi Babu Sana on Ram Charan's 'Peddi' sets with Sukumar: 'One shot for my sake'

As the shoot and final edit of the Ram Charan starrer ‘Peddi’ have wrapped up, makers have moved ahead in the post-production stage. Recently, the makers shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Mega Star Chiranjeevi and maverick director Sukumar present on the sets during the ‘Peddi Pehelwan’ sequence.In the video shared by the makers on their official social media handle, Chiranjeevi can be seen entering the sets. While making his way, he receives a warm welcome from the background actors in their ‘Pehelwan’ outfits. Chiranjeevi then meets director Sukumar, who seems to have already been on the sets. Later, Ram Charan and Buchi Babu Sana can be seen looking at the footage with the guests Chiranjeevi and Sukumar. The clip captures the fun moments they share; the team can be seen praising them for their hard work. In a funny moment. Chiranjeevi can be seen requesting the Peddi director to include a certain scene, saying, “One shot of him cycling for my sake.” Chiranjeevi can also be seen discussing some aspects of the movie.Lastly, Chiranjeevi can be seen taking a picture where Ram Charan, Sukumar and Buchi Babu Sana are flexing their biceps. Ram Charan comments, “It’s not big, sir. His muscles are better,” towards Buchi Babu Sana.Though Buchi Babu Sana is directing the film, Sukumar has played a major role behind the scenes. The ‘Pushpa’ director has reportedly guided the team throughout the making process. From story discussions to music and edit supervision, Sukumar stayed closely involved with the project. Buchi Babu Sana earlier worked as Sukumar’s assistant in ‘Rangasthalam’, and now the mentor-student bond has become one of the talking points around ‘Peddi’.Along with Ram Charan, the film also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma and Boman Irani in important roles. The makers confirmed that ‘Peddi’ will release worldwide on June 4, 2026, while premieres are planned for June 3.
