At the pre-release event of 'Kingdom', Vijay Deverakonda’s mother, Madhavi Deverakonda, was seen getting emotional as music composer Anirudh Ravichander delivered a heartfelt speech.


The composer spoke about how much 'Kingdom' meant to the team, calling it a milestone project for everyone involved. Anirudh says, “I have watched the film, it’s a milestone in Vijay’s career as well as in my career.

A mother’s prayer captures the internet’s heart

During Anirudh’s speech, where he says ‘Kingdom’ will be a milestone in ‘Vijay Deverakonda’s career, sight of Madhavi Deverakonda offering a quiet prayer and wiping tears, can be seen in the video shared by Artistrybuz Instagram page.

All eyes on Vijay Deverakonda’s 'Kingdom'

'Kingdom', releasing on July 31, features Vijay Deverakonda in the role of an undercover spy on a mission to dismantle a powerful crime syndicate — one led by his own elder brother, Siva.

Bhagyashri Borse plays the female lead, and Satyadev appears in a key role. The film is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, known for 'Jersey', and marks his collaboration with Anirudh once again. The Nani starrer 'Jersey' was indeed a game changer in the 'Eega' actor's career and the same is expected in 'Kingdom'. Recently the makers shared the trailer for the Vijay Deverakonda starrer which received good responses from the viewers, especially for Anirudh's magnificent composition. The background score has already gone viral on social media, just like Anirudh's majority of the compositions.


Having recently recovered from dengue, Vijay has returned to promotional duties with full force, and 'Kingdom', as the composer Anirudh said, is expected to mark the comeback of the 'Liger' actor.
