According to CineExpress, speaking at the success meet, he said, “Sankranthi will be remembered forever because it created history in Telugu cinema.” He clearly shared how proud and thankful he feels today.
Naveen Polishetty also shared about the doubts people had before the release. “When my film released during this festival, many doubted whether it could compete with the big films and survive,” he said. But the result surprised everyone. “But it stood strong and became a big success. The entire credit goes to the Telugu audience,” he added.
What Naveen Polishetty thinks before saying yes to a film
The ‘Chhichhore’ actor also spoke about how he chooses his films. “Whenever I hear a story, I think about three people. First, the producer. Second, the distributors and exhibitors. Third, the audience who spend their hard-earned money to watch the film,” he said. He added, “I want to respect all three. I could do multiple films in a year, but I prefer taking time to make a good film.”

Talking about his journey, Naveen Polishetty recalled his four straight hits, ‘Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya’, ‘Jathi Ratnalu’, ‘Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty’, and now ‘Anaganaga Oka Raju’. “Many people told me that someone from YouTube could never become a hero. Yet, Telugu audiences gave me four straight blockbusters,” he said.

Chiranjeevi’s ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’, Prabhas’ ‘The Raja Saab’ and others. Even then, the film went on to clinch the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office.
