Amritha Aiyer was born on May 13, 1994, in Bengaluru, Karnataka. She did her schooling from NHR School and received B.Com degree Commerce from St Joseph's College of Commerce, Bangalore. After completing her studies, she began her career in the modelling industry and has continued to make waves, lading campaigns for various endorsements. So, she first made a name for herself as a model, taking part in several modelling assignments.

She got her big break appearing alongside Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the sports action-drama Bigil in 2019. She plays the captain of a football team led by Vijay and gained attention for her role in the film. Nayanthara is the leading lady of the movie, which also featured Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Vivek, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Yogi Babu, Indhuja Ravichandran and Varsha Bollamma in pivotal roles. Atlee Kumar and Vijay have come together for the third time for Bigil, and the duo has earlier worked for Theri and Mersal.

Amritha Aiyer is all set to make her Tollywood debut with the upcoming romantic action-entertainer RED directed by Kishore Tirumala. She has been offered a pivotal role in the Ram Pothineni starrer. Nivetha Pethuraj and Malavika Sharma are paired opposite Ram in the film. It will be interesting to know what she plays in the forthcoming film.
