Adivi Sesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary’s 'HIT: The Second Case' is set to arrive on the silver screen. The much-anticipated project, which was earlier slated to hit theatres on July 29, will now release on December 2, 2022. Adivi Sesh himself confirmed the news on his Twitter handle.
Written and directed by Dr Sailesh Kolanu, 'HIT: The Second Case' is being produced by Prashanti Tipirneni and is presented by actor Nani. Nani also produced the prequel 'Hit: The First Case' which was released in 2020 and starred Vishwak Sen. With built-up hype around the crime thriller, Adivi Sesh will portray a peculiar role in 'HIT 2'.
The star cast also includes Bhanu Chander, Rao Ramesh, Posani Krishna Murali, Tanikella Bharani, Maganti Srinath and Komali Prasad. The technical crew comprises S. Manikandan handling the camera and John Stewart Eduri composing music. Garry BH will edit the flick.
Adivi Sesh’s last outing 'Major' has struck a chord with the audiences and has done well at the box office. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the biographical action drama is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who lost his life in service during the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai in 2008. The actor marked his Hindi film debut with 'Major' for which he also wrote the story and screenplay.
