5 Tollywood actors who did their bit for society by adopting villages

Celebrity status or stardom is not only about to show their attitude but also about to reveal their ounce of mercy in ordinary people. It has been proved by some of the Tollywood stars who have humanity and compassion for others. Arguably, their kindness and concern on society also made them celebrities. Humanity has always been sustain in society. However, take a look at the five Tollywood actors who have shown their other side of the coin by adopting villages.

The Tollywood’s prince Mahesh Babu has adopted Siddhapuram in Telangana and Burripalem in Andhra Pradesh. These villages have a population of approximately 2069 and 3306, as per the current population of India. The actor had funded some hefty amount to arrange minimum needs like a right school, water tanks, roads, community hall, drainage facilities, etc. On the work front, Mahesh Babu is currently working in Anil Ravipudi film, Sarileru Neekevvaru, which will be scheduled to release on January 12, 2020.

Megastar Chiranjeevi had adopted Perupalem village in West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh as part of Prime Minister Modi’s Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana initiative to work for its welfare and safety. According to Census of India, the village with a population of approximately about 12,466 and it has always been neglected all these years until he adopted. Chiru took the initiative to develop this village under the scheme as mentioned earlier so that it gets back in never-seen-before glory. Chiranjeevi’s upcoming flick ‘Sye ‘Raa Narasimha Reddy’ is expected to hit the screens on October 2, 2019.

Versatile actor Prakash Raj, who always in front to criticise the evil activities of political leaders, has chosen Kondareddypally village in Balmoor Mandal in Mahbubnagar District of Telangana State to adopt. He had discussed his plans with the higher officials of Telangana before the adaptation to bring drastic changes in the village with the allocated fund. The people of the town were pleased about the adaptation of their favourite actor, and such an act is an admiration to his humanity.

As per the industry reports, actor Vishnu Manchu, s/o veteran actor Mohan Babu Manchu, has adopted five villages near Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh, under the Army Green programme, established by himself. For the development of those villages, the actor focuses on creating the awareness of sanitation, education, health, agriculture, etc., among the people in these villages. He established some educational organisations to provide quality education irrespective of caste, creed and religion. In an interview, he said that his main motto is to adopt 100 more villages for restoration. Wow, with such great blights of humanity, he is an inspiration to millions.

As part of the initiative to give back to the society, senior actor Suman has adopted a village called Suddapalle, situated in Madgul Mandal, in Mahbubnagar District of Telangana State. The population of the town is approximately about 6414, as per the Census of India. Suddapalle is deprived of basic amenities for long, as per the locals. After its adaptation by the veteran actor, this rural area will be developed further in all aspects. However, such humanity is wanting in several other villages.
