Mahesh Babu Ghattamaneni is a well Telugu actor, producer, and philanthropist from Telugu cinema. He mainly works in Tollywood and is known for his charismatic looks, family subjects, and stardom. Many of his movies have been remade in other film industries due to their good content and success.

Mahesh Babu is the first Telugu cum South Indian actor to get a 'Wax Statue' At 'Madame Tussauds' In 2019. His wax statue was unveiled in Madame Tussauds Singapore in the year 2019. He was also the first Indian actor whose wax statue was flown back for a day for unveiling at his hometown.

He was ranked 12th on the ‘Times' 50 Most Desirable Men in India for the year 2010’, fifth in 2011, and second in 2012. He climbed to the first position on the above list for the year 2013, beating the likes of Bollywood superstars such as 'Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan & Salman Khan'. He stood at sixth place for the following year 2014, remained in the same position in 2015, seventh in 2016, climbed up to sixth in 2017.

Only Superstar of Telugu cinema with ‘No Remakes’
Even after completing 20 years in his film career. Mahesh Babu has never opted for a single remake from other languages. He made his acting debut as a lead in the K Raghavendra Rao directed-film Rajakumarudu in 1999. The superstar also once publicly announced that he would never do any remakes and spoil their greatness.
The actor who is waiting for his next release with Parasuram directorial “Sarkaru Vaari Paata”, is a commercial action entertainer which is an original film that stars Mahanati fame, Keerthy Suresh, playing his love interest to him in the film slated for 2022 Sankranthi Release.
