It was not just India that was swooning over the success of Vijay Deverakonda film Geetha Govindam, but the whole world went gaga over Vijay and co-star Rashmika Mandanna's performance in the film. Directed by Parasuram, Geetha Govindam hit the screens on August 15, 2018, and has completed exactly three years on Sunday. Fans are celebrating three years of Geetha Govindam, and now we give you five reasons that made it a huge success.

Vijay Deverakonda's innocent avatar as Vijay Govind
Vijay Deverakonda is undoubtedly the major reason to watch any film. The Liger actor's innocent avatar made his fans go crazy and yes, who can forget his dialogue "madam madam please madam please madam sorry madam please madam sorry madam". Vijay played the character of Vijay Govind, who was a young lecturer who falls for an independent level-headed woman named Geetha. If Vijay’s innocent avatar wasn't enough, his motive of making her fall in love with him did all the major work for the film’s success.

Rashmika Mandanna's acting
Admit that Rashmika Mandanna won your hearts with her charming screen presence and cute performance in the film. Rashmika played the role of an independent level-headed woman named Geetha, who doesn’t like the behaviour of Vijay is impressed by his actions and how he handled the situation. Therefore, she falls in love with him. T-Town celebs and fans couldn't stop gushing over Rashmika’s performance in the film. Since it was a Vijay Deverakonda film, it's difficult for any actor to stand out in the film. But Rashmika took the limelight away.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna's chemistry
We saw the two together for the first time in Geetha Govindam, and their pairing was unmatched and left us begging for more. And in this film, Vijay and Rashmika worked for the film, and they captured our hearts with their sizzling chemistry. And then they were seen in the 2019 film Dear Comrade. Though their chemistry was appreciated by the fans, the film failed miserably at the box office.

Gopi Sundar's songs
If you have songs like "Inkem Inkem Inkem Kaavaale", "Yenti Yenti", "Vachindamma", - you know you have hit the perfect chord. The music was composed by Gopi Sundar, and the songs ruled the charts. All you could hear was Geetha Govindam’s songs at all the major radio stations. The song, "Inkem Inkem Inkem Kaavaale", despite not being massy, sure makes the fans go crazy, and it can be declared as the best song in the recent past.

The star cast
The makers did manage to get an excellent star cast for each and every role. This has helped the film to a major extent, as all the artists have only bettered their roles. Actors Naga Babu, Subbaraju, Mouryani, Rahul Ramakrishna, Vennela Kishore, Annapoorna, Giri Babu, Ravi Prakash, Gautam Raju, Nithya Menen, and many others have done complete justice to their respective roles.
